A normal week in this work Draft
- Volunteers sign up, come once, and never come back.
- A grant is due in two weeks and nothing is written.
- Nobody ever explained what's actually expected of you.
- You're supervising people and nobody taught you how.

How it works Draft
CivicBridge teaches the job itself: the parts of this work nobody writes down.
- Live and virtual
- Every session happens live, online, with your cohort.
- Small cohorts
- You go through each course with the same small group.
- Time between courses
- A gap of 4 to 8 weeks, on purpose, so you use what you learned at work first.
- A closing dinner
- Ground Level ends with a closing dinner in the NYC metro.
Where to start Draft
The assessment is 21 questions and takes about five minutes. It suggests a starting point. It's not a test.
