A normal week in this work Draft

  • Volunteers sign up, come once, and never come back.
  • A grant is due in two weeks and nothing is written.
  • Nobody ever explained what's actually expected of you.
  • You're supervising people and nobody taught you how.

CivicBridge runs live, small-group courses for people working in nonprofit, civic, government, and community organizations.

The courses are virtual, and we're focused on the New York City metro area. Draft

How it works Draft

CivicBridge teaches the job itself: the parts of this work nobody writes down.

Live and virtual
Every session happens live, online, with your cohort.
Small cohorts
You go through each course with the same small group.
Time between courses
A gap of 4 to 8 weeks, on purpose, so you use what you learned at work first.
A closing dinner
Ground Level ends with a closing dinner in the NYC metro.

Where to start Draft
